Hello, I am called Natalie and I am the maker of Made by wren.

I chose the name 'Made by wren' as I love the fact wrens are the tiniest of birds, yet have the loudest song.

I hand make jewellery using thread normally used in the construction of parachutes. I make all my jewellery on our dining table in our family home in Andover, Hampshire.

I discovered parachute cord was an ideal thread due to its durability. It is made to withstand weight and also delicate in appearance.

I wanted to create not only affordable jewellery but that was understated, elegant and special.

I also make jewellery out of sterling silver 925 and 14ct gold filled wire.

I invest time carefully choosing stones that are not only genuine , but that are carefully cut and the best colours they can be.

I source stones worldwide supporting fellow small businesses. I also ensure the stonecutters are adults and not children and that stone cutters are being paid fairly for their work.

I am married to Phil who is behind my logo and branding and have 4 daughters.

I do all of the photography for Wren. For my main job I work in the NHS, and have for 18 years. I love swimming in rivers and the sea.

All of meanings of the crystals I make into jewellery are based on Judy Hall.

Judy Hall has been teaching & writing about crystals for 45 years. She is a leading spiritual and crystal writer.
